Ally Day, The O.C. Edition

July 14th, 2011

When I was 4 years old I knew that my Mom had Mother’s Day and my Dad had Father’s Day so I asked my Mom if I could have a day just for me. My Mom invented Ally Day and I’ve had one every year. Some have been themed and some have been events but this was the best of all. Earlier in the year we watched all seasons of The O.C. and I absolutely loved it. My Mom & Dad said when vacationed in Los Angeles this year we would have Ally Day, The O.C. Edition. I was very excited. They said we would visit many of the shooting locations for the show but they kept the details to themselves.

We started the day off with bagels just like the Cohen’s. Then we went to the Whole Foods in Santa Monica where we saw Willa Holland (Kaitlin Cooper, aka Mini Cooper from The O.C.) just two days earlier for my Ally Day gift which was an awesome pair of Toms shoes with elephants on them. A few days earlier we were at The Mermaid Restaurant so we already had those pictures. Then we went to lifeguard tower S 49 where Marissa Cooper would go to be alone where I got the most amazing pictures.

Then my Mom & Dad said we were going to get something to eat before we went to any other locations. They took me to the cafe where the kids hung out on the show, I was very surprised and giddy. I sat in the exact same spot that all of the cast had sat in. Then the biggest surprise of all, they handed me a gift and told me to open it. It was a Princess Sparkles (My Little Pony) just like the one Summer Roberts had. I was so surprised but we’re not showing that picture. Then we walked the pier they frequented and followed up with The Bait Shop. Best Ally Day ever.
